Kerry McCann LPC
Life doesn’t always follow a straight path—and healing rarely does either. I believe that every person has the capacity to grow, to heal, and to thrive when given the space, tools, and support to do so. As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), National Certified Counselor (NCC), and LCADC candidate, I offer a compassionate, empowering, and trauma-informed space for clients to explore their story, reconnect with their strengths, and move forward with clarity and purpose. My work is deeply rooted in my own lived experiences and a long career with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. There, I supported veterans navigating traumatic brain injuries, PTSD, co-occurring disorders, and serious mental illness. My personal journey through trauma and recovery helped shape the way I connect with others—I understand what it means to feel broken, and what it means to rebuild. I specialize in working with: Veterans, First Responders, Survivors of sexual abuse, domestic violence, and adults navigating the criminal justice system and incarceration trauma, individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders LGBTQ+ clients, including those exploring gender identity, sexuality, or living with HIV. My therapeutic approach is integrative, collaborative, and always tailored to your unique needs. I draw from evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Trauma-Informed Care.

I am certified in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy—a body-based modality that helps process trauma physically as well as emotionally—and in Sandplay Therapy, which supports healing through expressive, nonverbal exploration. I also incorporate psychodynamic elements to help deepen insight and uncover underlying patterns that may be getting in the way of lasting change. I’ve worked in a variety of settings, from court-mandated treatment programs and detention centers to outpatient clinics and correctional facilities. No matter where I’m working or who I’m working with, my goal is always the same: to create a space where you feel seen, heard, and supported as you move toward your full potential. I can’t promise the work will always be easy, but I can promise that it will be real—and that I’ll meet you with empathy, authenticity, and a deep belief in your ability to grow beyond your circumstances. “Every saint has a past, and every sinner has a future.” This quote guides much of the work I do. We are all works in progress, and I am here to walk with you on your journey—wherever that path leads.

Mari Timpanaro

.Hello! And welcome to the beginning of our conversation journey. This is what the therapeutic space means for me; an ongoing conversational space where there is no one 'right solution' for everything. We figure out what works for and motivates you - we will try and miss, and we will try and succeed. The takeaway is, the journey with you is what you make of it, what you want. You hold they keys, I'm just here to help figure out how to open the doors that have gotten stuck.
After a major career pivot in 2012, I graduated from Fordham University in 2014 with my MSW; I'm an LMSW and LSW. With over 10 years in the field of social work, I have worked with individuals and families in the spaces of intellectual and developmental disabilities, crisis and suicide prevention, and life challenges that we all face (anxiety, stress, depression, grief, family and self-growth/changes, etc). I'm looking forward to seeing where this journey, alongside a little elbow grease, takes you.

Lauren Maynard
Hi, I’m Lauren! I’m a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist with a master’s degree
in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University. Prior to this deeply meaningful work, I
earned a master’s degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology and spent several years in

to become the best versions of themselves.
Whether in my previous professional roles or in my current passion-driven practice, my mission

My therapeutic work is grounded in Family Systems Theory, which emphasizes understanding
individuals within the context of their relationships. This approach explores how family
dynamics, roles, and relational patterns shape our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. By
looking at these interconnected relationships, I help clients gain insight into recurring patterns
and how they impact their well-being, empowering them to create healthier, more fulfilling
connections.
My style is authentic—after all, I believe in practicing what I preach! I bring compassion,
empathy, a sense of humor, and, most importantly, a non-judgmental presence to the
therapeutic space. Building a strong, trusting relationship is the foundation of the work I do, and
I strive to create a safe and collaborative environment where clients feel empowered and in
control of their own healing journey.

Sylvia Abuissa
Hi, my name is Sylvia. I am an LAC in New Jersey, recently graduated from William Paterson University. My previous experience includes working with adults and some background on substance use. Growing up as a first generation American I had to learn to adapt to a new culture while still holding on to my roots. Navigating the cultural differences has provided me with a deeper understanding of identity, communication, and resilience. Not only has this strengthened my understanding of cultural impact, but also sparked my passion for mental health, especially for individuals like myself who are caught between worlds. My goal as a counselor is to provide a safe and welcoming environment for clients to feel heard and empowered. Counseling has always felt like my calling, and I’m looking forward to working with clients to achieve more fulfilling lives. I feel the therapeutic alliance should resemble teamwork as we work together to build lasting changes.

Kaela Azzaretto
Hi! My name is Kaela and I am a Licensed Associate Counselor and I want to start by saying this: therapy can feel really scary and intimidating. I’ve been there too. Opening up to someone new, not knowing what to expect, wondering if you’ll be judged or misunderstood… it’s a lot. But I want you to know, you won’t be alone. I’ll be with you every step of the way, creating a safe, supportive space where you can be yourself. Growing up as a gymnast, my sport was a big part of who I was. It brought me both joy and a lot of anxiety and stress. The pressure to perform was intense and often overwhelming, shaping how I handled stress and challenges in life. When I eventually had to step away from something I loved so much, I felt lost and unsure of who I was without it. Therapy helped me find my new identity and find new ways to care for my mental and emotional health. That experience inspired me to become a therapist. I earned my Master’s in Rehabilitation Counseling with a focus in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Rutgers University. I bring a warm, person-centered, and collaborative approach to therapy, meeting you where you are and moving at your pace. Whether you’re facing anxiety, depression, life transitions, or just feeling overwhelmed, I’m here to walk alongside you. Outside the therapy room, I enjoy spending time with my family, going for nature walks, watching hockey, and finding comfort in the little moments. If you’re thinking about therapy, I’d be honored to support you on your journey.

She strives to create a safe and nurturing therapeutic space where clients feel seen, heard, and supported.
Marilyn often describes her role as a therapist much like that of a gardener, offering the right environment, guidance, and encouragement so that clients can grow in their own time and in their own way. Her clinical work emphasized authenticity, self-awareness, and aligning one’s choices with deeply held values.
Outside of the therapy room, Marilyn enjoys spending quality time outdoors with her family, listening to worship music, and traveling to experience the beauty and diversity of the world. She lives by the words of the Dalai Lama: “Be the change you wish to see in the world.”

But taking that step was one of the best choices I made for my own healing, and it’s what inspires me to walk alongside others with empathy and patience. We’ll move forward together at a pace that feels right for you, and I’ll be alongside you each step of the way. I bring a warm, collaborative, and person-centered approach, focused on helping you gain new insights and perspectives that can guide you toward greater clarity and self-understanding. Life is full of challenges, but with the right tools and support, I believe that you are able to achieve a more balanced, fulfilling life. It’s never too early or too late to improve the way you feel and interact with the world around you. It all starts with you, and you’ve taken a meaningful step in helping yourself, and that is something you should be proud of.
In my personal time, I enjoy doing the things I love, such as spending time in nature, engaging in movement through yoga, pilates, and dancing, spending time with family and friends, going to the beach, exploring new places, and trying out new restaurants. These self-care activities help me stay present and remind me of the importance of finding joy in the simple things.

Patrick Reiss
Hi, I’m Patrick Reiss (he/him), a Licensed Associate Counselor. I believe therapy should be a space where you feel safe, respected, and supported, no matter what you’re carrying.
My style is calm, collaborative, and focused on helping you make real, lasting change. I use a combination of practical tools and supportive conversations to help you gain a deeper understanding of yourself, manage your emotions, and move forward in ways that feel right for you. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of what’s next, we’ll work together to find a path forward that fits your goals and values.
I’ve worked in community mental health settings supporting people in recovery and those facing emotional and mental health challenges. That experience has taught me the power of feeling truly heard and understood, and that’s the kind of space I aim to create for every person I work with.

Danielle Spera
Danielle Spera is a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) who approaches therapy with a calm, grounded presence and a deep belief in the power of self-exploration. With an academic foundation from Montclair State University (B.A.) and Walden University (M.S.), Danielle’s path into the mental health field was shaped by a lifelong passion for understanding the human experience, not just clinically but personally.
Her therapeutic style is rooted in honesty, logic, and compassion. She believes growth doesn’t come from being told what to do, but from being truly seen, heard, and supported. Danielle meets clients where they are, offering a space that’s safe, collaborative, and tailored to each individual’s pace and needs.
Outside of her work, Danielle is a quiet thinker who values peace, meaning, and connection. She finds calm in nature, joy in deep conversation, and purpose in the smallest of details. Music plays a constant role in her life, often shaping her reflections, emotions, and sense of presence. Honoring her femininity and caring for her appearance is one way she stays rooted in herself, nurturing confidence, presence, and a strong sense of identity. Deeply introspective and at home in her own company, she brings that same grounded independence and intentionality into her sessions, supporting clients in reconnecting with themselves in ways that feel real, safe, and true to who they are.”

Nina Wollberg
Hi there, I’m Nina! I believe in the power of connection and the quiet strength that comes from being truly heard. My practice is integrative, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that healing is possible, even in the face of pain or uncertainty. I bring warmth, curiosity, and deep respect for each person’s lived experience, walking alongside clients as they navigate life’s challenges and build resilience from within.
I earned my master’s degree from the NYC Silberman School of Social Work. I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals in hospitals, schools, and community organizations.
I offer virtual therapy to individuals across New Jersey, creating a flexible and accessible space for healing from wherever you are. I draw from evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT), a mind-body approach that supports individuals living with chronic pain in retraining their nervous systems and reconnecting with a sense of safety and ease. Whether we’re working through emotional distress, chronic health conditions, or major life transitions, I work with you to ensure each session reflects your needs, strengths, and goals.
Outside of my work, I find deep meaning in spending time with my family and friends and doting on my beloved cat. I recharge through long walks in nature and immersing myself in music, art, and travel.
