Christine Ussher

Christine (she/ her) is a Licensed Social Worker who earned her Master's in Social Work from Ramapo College of New Jersey. She is dedicated to supporting adolescents and adults as they navigate life's challenges with a compassionate, curious, and trauma-informed approach. Christine believes therapy should reflect each individual's unique experience and values, taking an eclectic, strengths-based, person-centered approach that draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, and mindfulness-based techniques. She has experience supporting clients through social and generalized anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions in both clinical and community settings, including higher education mental health, school social work, and community-based case management. She has a passion for working with the LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent communities, providing an affirming and inclusive therapeutic space. Above all, Christine strives to create a safe, collaborative, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel seen, supported, and empowered to build resilience and create meaningful change in their lives. In her free time, Christine enjoys reading. puzzles, hiking, and spending time with her two cats.
