Lydia Orr

Lydia is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), who graduated from VCU School of Social Work with her Masters in Clinical Social Work and a certificate in Gender Violence Intervention. Lydia works in private practice as a trauma therapist and utilizes modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems, Polyvagal Theory and Play Therapy. Lydia's client population interests are young adults, survivors of sexual and domestic violence and men who have experienced trauma. She is also a clinical supervisor for supervisees in social work and adjunct faculty for VCU's school in social work, teaching graduate level clinical social work classes. In her free time she is passionate about photography, enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and loves to travel!
