Compassionate support for grief, trauma, family concerns, domestic violence, narcissistic abuse, empty-nest transitions, and grey divorce.

My work grew out of years in palliative and end-of-life care, where I supported patients, families, and children through illness, dying, and grief. That experience taught me something important: grief is not only about death. It can follow a job loss, breakup, divorce, diagnosis, the loss of a pet, or even loving someone who is still alive but has changed. I bring that same care to family systems, trauma, narcissistic abuse, domestic violence, empty-nest transitions, and getting divorce.
Outside of sessions, I am usually with my adult children, close friends, my dog and two cats, or somewhere outdoors—hiking, reading, cooking, or simply listening to music. Animals have always been part of how I understand comfort and healing. I have researched the role of pet therapy in reducing pain for patients with advanced cancer, and I carry that belief into how I think about support more broadly.
