Barbara Angstadt
Supervisor LCSW
Experienced support for grief, depression, anxiety, women’s issues, trauma, and life transitions across individuals, couples, and families.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social worker with over 25 years experience. I graduated from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill with a degree in Clinical Social work. I use the values of social work when working with clients, especially the value of starting where the client is and that everyone deserves dignity and self-worth.
I have worked with diverse populations including military members and their families, families, couples and children. I have assisted individuals navigate grief and loss, depression, anxiety, women’s issues, trauma and multiple life transitions.
I use multiple modalities depending on the needs and comfort levels of individuals. These include, but not limited to, client centered therapy, CBT, journaling and solution focused therapy. I see the goal of therapy is to provide the individual with a safe and supportive space so that they can connect with who they really are and be able to make positive life decisions and changes.
